Chocolate Milkshake (with no ice cream)

Saturday, June 25, 2011
Here's an easy recipe for a great summer treat - chocolate milkshakes! Best of all, it uses food storage! (No ice cream involved).

1/2 C. Water
3/4 C. Dry Powdered Milk
1/3 C. Chocolate Powder (Nesquick or similar)
2 C. Ice

Layer the ingredients in a blender in the order listed and then blend until smooth. Serve immediately!

Even better, if you have Strawberry Nesquick you can make a strawberry milkshake, too!

[Note that the milk is the dry powdered stuff, from the LDS Cannery, NOT the Carnation instant stuff you find in the grocery store. If you have the Carnation instant powdered milk, then use double the amount called for in the recipe.]
